From newer construction to sold out mausoleums, Matthews patented Modular Crypt System (MCS) creates additional revenue opportunities and gives new life to older buildings. Now you can easily convert unused or under-utilized space in an atrium, open area around a staircase, hallway or arrangement room to additional crypt or niche inventory. MCS can also be used to retrofit older cemetery buildings – such as chapels – that can’t support the load of a concrete structure.

More versatile than traditional concrete, MCS is comprised of aluminum and plastic and may be veneered with our standard finishes – including granite panels or split-faced designs. Due to its composition, the system can be installed in weather conditions that aren’t optimal for concrete – including extreme cold – as well as on surfaces that aren’t perfectly level.
